Pretty damned hopeless is my analysis. Of the 11 players, only Felix ,Mudryk ,Nkuku,and Viega were half decent, and Madueke as a sub made a difference. These are all talented players with not enough game time so I get why they are in this side. Viega in midfield is a no no for me, and he is being ruined playing there. Fernandez was not even up to this standard, Dewsbury Hall is an OK player but no better than some Academy kids, while Badashielle, Disasi and the rest of the dud defenders were duds again. Time to play Academy players and Chukwemenke in the 2nds Team, and put the duds in the dustbin.
Aye, a completely different performance from the weekend, by a totally different team. We still have a lot of chaff in the squad that we need to sell next summer. We need a new first choice GK and a big CB signing (and for James to stay fit), and then we just need to pad the squad.
