An excellent article, be good to get this over the line now, even if he is not actually in charge of the team on Sunday an announcement prior to the game would hopefully give the team a lift for the Wolves game.
Interview broadcast on RN at 18:30 tonight (Bennet & Anderson on phone in). He apparently knows MON well and believes that SAFC is exactly the type of challenge he was waiting for. Also mentioned that he was a boyhood fan and that Hurley Monty Anderson and others were his boyhood heroes. Also that he played under Cloughie @ forest so mebs learnt some of his managerial skills while he was there. Says he is a great motivator and won't tolerate any "hangers on". Sound like the door for the deadwood then. I like much of what I hear. I especially like his TV persona and his undoubted honesty and integrity. I believe he is EXACTLY what we need.
To be honest I was debating whether to go to the Blackburn game or just watch it on the tele. Now I can't wait to go an sing MON red and white army
