I predicted 7th-10th in the first poll. And I still stick by that as a realistic expectation, based on current squads. But we really need to get some energy / intensity / purpose back into our game. Quickly.
**** knows, honestly. We went on very good runs last year from worse positions. For me, I think a lot will depend on Botman, and how quickly he can get back to form when he gets into he team.
No chance currently. Think I said previously I’d have voted but never did but with the lack of transfers I’d have said no to top 6 initially. That shouldn’t detract from the dogs dinner being served up currently. Tried to back Howe through this but we have been so poor in the first 10 games and no hint of a change from Howe I’m not sure he makes it past next Monday now… has to win vs Chelsea and get a point out of arsenal if not thi k he may be gone!
The question I'd add is, when does Howe get the bullet? I'd go with top 6 has to be reached, or a trophy won, i.e. Euro qualification is the bar and anything below won't be tolerated.
Remember this Chelsea side even though it’s not there first team cost a lot more than ours in the pitch.
BTW Longstaff is the best player on the pitch today. He does all that dirty stuff which most people forget and ignore because he isn’t sexy.
