Tiger sauce was the daddy of brown sauces, last bottle i ever had was from Morrosons about 25 years ago. Not seen it since.
Yeah, the Clarkson thing. Coca-Cola and ketchup not banned, because they are not produce locally he doesn’t stick/offer. plus it’s great publicity to make a big deal about it too. It’s as if a bloke in the media and started in local journalism knows how to play the game.
yeah, seen it in a supermarket not so long ago. Don’t eat that much that needs brown sauce outside of the odd bacon roll now so hardly worth buying.
Had a craving for a Heinz toast topper today. Ham and cheese canned gunk put on toast and warmed under the grill. Student food in the past. They don’t make them anymore.
Going back to resaurant chains, they are a total rip off. Millar and Carters ......"i would like the lamb shank please but no mint sauce". sorry sir it comes with the sauce, "yes but i don't want the sauce" sorry sir it's whith it. "**** it I will have a steak". Hickory Smokehouse........"i would like the baby back ribs but no BBQ sauce". Sorry sir it comes with the sauce "yes but i don't want the sauce"sorry sir it's with it. **** it i will have the Brisket (which was very nice)" Fact is they are selling frozen **** pre-prepared and warmed up possibly from some supermarket or other for £3,50 per box and charging you top dollar.
They’re aite. I’ll normally have mussels if they’re on a starter menu and oysters are good with a bit of hot sauce albeit poncey and not worth the money.
