please log in to view this image Right here we go then. A nice distraction from the league comes in the form of a league cup last 16 tie which should be an FUN fixture against... errrmmm, Stoke City. We have a terrible record against them at home having failed to score in each of the last 4 occasions, however as Russell Martin has said we're having a lot of FUN at the moment and nothing sounds as much FUN as watching our second string play 300 passes in our own half against poor championship opposition. On the plus side it'll be nice to play a team who are of a similar standard to us. Absolutely **** loads of tickets left for this one with the entire Kingsland closed and hundreds of tickets still available in pretty much every block in the Northam and Chapel. So if you're as mental as me and many others then take advantage of some cheap tickets and come and cheer the lads on under the lights and try and it make it as much FUN as possible. Really think we should go strong here as I always do for the cups. I know we have a massive game Saturday but a good win could really help build some confidence of the first team and give the fans a boost going into the Everton match. Plus, we're almost certainly going down anyway so we may as well have something FUN to look forward to in a Cup QF - The City game from 2 seasons ago was undoubtedly the highlight of what was a very poor season for me. Prediction wise and I think we'll just about squeeze through this perhaps undeservedly in a match that will be rather bori-errrr I mean FUN. 2-1 Saints and I'll be on my way to another 2 unbeaten run How we could do with this chap right about now, he was a lot of FUN. #fun Up The ****ing Saints
We always tend to go on a cup run when we're doing **** in the league so on that basis....... WE'RE GONNA WIN THE CUP!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, Russ did say we're going strong for this as we want to be in a QF, so Wah-Hey We've got tickets because we went to the Cardiff game and had LOTS OF FUN Our attack was FUNtastic and our defence was disFUNctional, therefore resulting in LOTS OF GOALS Undoubtedly the most FUN we've had at a Saints game this season (Ignoring the partial FUN we had v ManU, Ipswich & Leicester) So ... more of that please Cardiff was Ugo's best game by far Archer scored 2 Bree scored a wonder goal Sam Amo played and scored So I'd start with them Cap'n Jack and Joe for experience Adarma because he can score v Champ teams and 5 others by order of who's the most FUN ... So probably BBD

Just hope we don’t draw Grimsby this year As much as we are poor for a PL side we’d also be one of the best sides, if not the best, in the Champ with this side so I’d expect a pretty comfortable win if we go full strength. I doubt we will go that strong but still expect to win something like 2-1
Whatever happens in this match no-one is going to make a more bonkers comment than this one. Hopefully, one day they will turn up in someone's Classic Steak and Kidney Pie.
I predict another high scoring affair, 5-3 saints. We go 3-0 up in the first half, they level with 3 quick goals early in the second half. We take the lead and then go flat, before settling the nerves with 5 minutes to go. Goals from stephens, Fernandez, brace for Armstrong and one for BBD.
Looking forward to seeing the Smiths tomorrow. Please, please, please, let us score when we want. Lord knows it would be the first time.
I'd be inclined to go with a front three of Sulemana-Paul-Cornet. See if any of them can put in a performance. Give Archer and Dibling the night off. Armstrong, Fraser and Diaz can make do with places on the bench.
