I don't miss L1 one little bit. I was saying to a couple of people who sit next us at the match on Saturday, that watching us now makes sitting through the Papa John's games a few years ago seem like a lifetime ago. Unreal turnaround
Calvin Ramsay looks half the player he was when he got the move to Liverpool, what's went on there? I know he's had a fair few injuries
Injuries and lack of minutes - go hand in hand I suppose Loved him at Aberdeen, thought he would be a nailed on Scottish international a couple yrs after breaking into their team. The Liverpool move was a poor move imo, going from playing week in week out to playing u21 football can really impact a players development. I love that lads like Hickey n Ferguson decided to go to Italy instead of a move to England directly from Scotland
Really like Josh Doig, surprised he didn't get another move in the summer after Sassuolo were relegated
Yeah I like him but he's not been great since his move. I watched him for Scotland u21s the other week n he was so poor. Definitely a quality player in there tho, I know his old youth coach n he says he's such a good lad n totally dedicated to his football
I guess it shows how important belief and confidence are to players. A bad move or experience can be hard to recover from.
2-2. Another own goal. No need for Wigan to go as deep and narrow as they have done for the last few minutes, just asking for Blackpool to put the ball in the box.
2-2 FT. Glad I tuned in to that for a few reasons. Firstly, quite entertaining. Secondly, a great reminder of how far we have came. Both of these teams were 'rivals' just a few years ago, Wigan in particular. I'm a bitter person so I still get some joy from Wigan being **** after the weird rivalry they created with us.
