Not before time it has to be said. For a while I felt a bit sorry for him but actually he's spent (I beleive they were his targets) 100's of millions on players and they haven't proven good enough. Add that to the fact there is no clear way his team plays and zero sign of improvement. In fact gone backwards. They kept him after the FA Cup win so they couldn't be criticised if his replacement came in and did worse with the media saying 'should have kept Ten Haag.' I don't believe they ever thought he would be good enough. It was a matter of time. He had to go.
Southgate would be hilarious but I can see it being Amorim and he could potentially do damage if backed. He’s been brilliant at Sporting and plays a really good style.
