Definitely and he's still trying to get back in to a central position to mop up for Bruno and Joelinton as well as giving Share/Burn options It wasn't a great game by Tonali but Bruno and Joelinton are allegedly Brazilian starting internationals yet are playing worse than Longstaff.
The cbs are the biggest issue tbh... they're both all over the place. To think people were after Lewis hall ? Jesus he's got more ability than any of the back 4 including Livramento.
They get no protection. Every club doing well has decent defensive midfielders. Not only are they both pretty ****, but when you’ve got Bruno running through tar as your nearest option it’s a mess. Utterly baffling why Howe can’t see it.
The problem is the cbs are too scared to push up and the midfield have to try and get forward. Two better cbs and a keeper and we will look fine imo.
