Yep, agree. Sometimes I wish the folk appointing coaches are also accountable though. It is a fine line. Beale arguably should have resulted in others under real pressure or gone. Perhaps they were and redemption is emerging. I just think it is the easy out to sack the coach. But I am the arch defender of coaches as you know. Time is of the essence in coaching, the more you have the easier it is to judge. But this is an age old debate. Footy mirrors society in the instant gratification stakes really. We seem to lack patience.

I'm going howe after mourinho has just said "when I'm back in England" talking about being a opposite manager against man utd. I would love it, love it if he became the skunks next coach, it will send them over the edge.

If it wasn’t for McKenna, Ipswich would be still floundering in league 1

Russell Martin will be next, a heavy defeat today to Man City will be the end.

Feeling amongst most fans I know.

saints will either lose 5/6 today or win 2-1 coz that’s just the logic of football

Of course he will be, he got his cut from the move as an agent and gets another if Clarke leaves Ipswich. Unless Clarke dumps him, of course.

I can see Clarke being sold back to a championship club if they go down.
And if they do, ffp will be calling

Not sure clarke was forced to go, he made the decision that he was felt was best. Who knows if it'll work out in the long run but he's a grown man who made the decision to move - def wasn't forced to sign the deal

I hope clarke smashes it, it's a deal that seems to have worked out for us at the minute

Edwards and O’Neil both close I’m sure, both would be shocking decisions in panic.

I’d wager it’s Martin, but it doesn’t matter who they replace him with, they will go down, as they are ****e.

Just glanced at their charming forum, loads of them calling for his head. The problem with increased expectations I guess.

to be fair we’d be wanting our manager gone if we were in the relegation zone as well. And we don’t even have increased expectations
