Burnley fail to win at home to QPR. West Brom fail to win at home to Cardiff. It happens. It's the Championship.
Away to Bristol it’s a point won, those home teams dropped two On another note Ipswich 2-0 up and lose 4-3 and Spanish comes out with a corker, he watched our game and it was dross, give him the rollercoaster of the PL any day. Don’t think he understands the term rollercoaster
Well played lads, good result for us against a class side in the top 6, fair game, well supported by good fans on both sides, satisfactory result for us as far as I'm concerned, good luck.
Just to be clear, I’m not digging you out, my point about your posts is they aptly describe our shortcomings in front of goal that stretch back to the Bielsa days. (It’s why I took your bet - you wanna cash out ). We just don’t seem to have anyone with the right composure to finish the chances we create. Joseph missed another with his head which he should be scoring for me, it’s making me think he isn’t ready to lead the line in a promotion push. It’s one thing scoring a hat trick against the Kazakhstan U21 but very different in the championship. Only thing I slightly disagree with you about is that I didn’t think they were a decent team, they were garbage and very feeble up front.
I understand we both biased but you had a good 25 min spell start of game you looked dangerous but you never hurt us once. then it was all us who couldn't score in a brothel they would be still playing now. end of day we should of won that game but fair play to ur back line they did there job well.
As said goals are our problem when we get that right we could push for the top six-look where we sit and our goalscoring is poor-but we are hard to beat.
Nothing against your team or you, nice to have a proper even handed discussion with an opposite fan. I wish you well (so long as you finish below us). Just thought it was a poor game from both teams to be honest, so you’re possibly right about the draw being a fair result, but I think we had chances that we could/should have scored from whereas I honestly can’t say the same for you. Anyway, doesn’t matter what I say or think, the result won’t change.
As someone with youngish children I have some experience of theme parks. I think you’re right - el tractor is confusing rollercoasters which have ups and downs with slides which only have downs. Hope that’s cleared up any confusion. To be fair there is a ride at Alton towers called oblivion so maybe he was thinking of that
My mother’s family were originally from Leeds and I’ve never been there - not even for the football!! I’m happy with a point from this game. We’ve improved of late, but most of us acknowledge that Leeds were favourites and the game stats would bear that out. The pivotal moment for us was when McCrorie got injured and had to come off. We seemed to be in disarray after that, with players moving positions to cover his absence. Leeds created the better of the chances, but chances alone don’t win games. Until the ball is in the net it’s even Stevens. At the end of the day I suspect that we are happier with the point despite being the home side. It’ll be interesting to see what happens between now and the return fixture. You could be out of sight - and we could be in a relegation scrap - or we could be biting your heels - we shall see. If only that bicycle kick had gone in …….. If my granny had balls…… Good luck - till we meet again!!! I might even venture up for that one and touch base with (half) my roots
