His passing and carrying the ball out of defence was superb today. Always looking down the pitch for a pass that will get an attack going and plays it beautifully on either foot.
Roberts played well today. I reckon at halftime he was told to stop fannying on trying to score the perfect goal and get some shots in because he pulled the trigger a lot earlier in the second half. Noticed Isidor following in looking for a keeper error always like to see that in a forward.
Waiting for the highlights and the whole 90 minutes to arrive on the forum (thanks to RTB) - we are 10 hours ahead of you in the UK, and I need my sleep
Does anyone know what time this game kicks off today, I know the clocks have gone back so I don’t want to get mixed up and miss it … … I was lucky enough to be at the SOL for the open training session yesterday and they’re looking in good fettle. Ha’way the Lads, I’m saying 2-0, Jobe and Wilson!
Up and about with a stupid grin on my face. Yesterday was so special for me and he whole day was perfect. We were discussing momentum and I've spoken about this in the past and we definitely have some going on now. In the past two seasons Burnley and Ipswich had it and got the job done so why not us? Momentum brings in turn confidence and a bit of swagger and I could see yesterday the whole team wanted the ball, we're comfortable with it and the forward passing was a joy to watch. When we don't have the ball we hunt in packs to get it back, it's sublime to watch. A team with the spirit, confidence and talent that we have can become very difficult to stop. I'm not getting carried away just saying what I saw in front of me yesterday. We didn't give Oxford a chance to get into the game and it was nice to see the opposition try without reverting to cheating ala Luton the other night. We're on a roll so hold onto your hats lads.
Me as well, holy trinity of lager, whisky and vodka yesterday for me if you can’t push the boat out after a game like that though …
