To be honest, we've actually been really lucky with serious injuries like ACLs in recent years. Apart from Covil, who was never really a senior player, I don't even know who the last player to suffer a really serious, 6 month plus injury with us would be.

We've had Sinik dicking about for two years and we had those constant muscle injuries under Shota which were probably down to preparation, but the really serious, unlucky injuries haven't really struck us for a while.

I thought the exact same thing on Wednesday night. It didn’t look good, I said to the guy next to me it might be ACL and then he got up and tried playing on so thought it couldn’t be that bad.

Some players can still walk with an ACL, believe it or not. Others are in excruciating pain when they do theirs. It’s a odd injury.

****ing International breaks won't have helped. Flying to North America and back and playing two games over there every month then playing in the rigours of the Championship again 3 days later

I do wonder whether we thought enough about this when we signed him. This injury is terrible luck, but prior to that he's had to be eased back in after each international break which has meant he's not had anything like a consistent run in the team anyway, and I guess he was never going to be able to.

Don't be too harsh GLP. It may have been his first one. Everyone has to learn.

You've said a lot of stupid things on here but to say this to a man who went through a ****ing serious traumatic incident and sustained terrible injuries has to be up there with the worst.
    Stop being a ****.

All that "rerver" playful banter **** was a front then I see. Honestly I think Rover did well to just take it all on the chin and humour you

Thanks Wessie, I had better things to do than argue with a twat on a message board. Luckily I saw through him a long time ago.

Obviously Kamara is the most serious, missing a leg, hope he finds it before the weekends game.
