A game we slowly took control of but didn't take a couple of decent opportunities. City looked dangerous first half hour but died off I'd say 0-0 is fair enough at Halftime.
Definitely, a fit Dan James doesn’t get caught in a foot race in those circumstances. Also, dare I say it (I’ll whisper it so Emu can’t hear), we lose a lot of good attacking play down the left without Firpo!!
At least Bristol C are having ago instead of parking the bus. A bit disappointed with Piroe. We could nick it if we step it up. Bring Joseph on.
We haven't battered them but we've certainly been the better side. They have had their moments but we've had some very good chances. Rothwell should have hit the target with a volley 9 yards out. Bogle should have hit the target from a header at the back post but he hit the side netting. Dan James messed up a counter when he ran over in to Gnontos space instead of keeping the defence split. Dan James also had a 1v1 with their keeper saved. Aaronson had an effort just over. Gnonto made the keeper save from distance. Rodons header went straight at the keeper. Either side of him and he scores. Some really good chances for us there and Bristol haven't really had a shot other than a couple of speculative digs at goal.
And OLOF, although he did get kick off time wrong midweek, he probably thought today was a 3 o’clock.
this ref wants to fook off how can someone taking someone legs with his hands not a yellow but every foul we do is.
