The away toilets at the Vetch were used as a film set for The Black Hole of Calcutta. :emoticon-0138-think

Best noise in football is a crowd cheering a goal.

    Why dilute it.

    It’s awful. Bin it.

The thread has moved on from goal celebration music to urinals at various football stadiums.
To pacify Rerver I am sure that the bogs at Craven Park smell of freshly cut flowers. <laugh><laugh>

I’d honestly rather we play white noise when the opponent scores to drown out their celebrations.

The mens toilets at Oakwell in the 80's was basically a brick outhouse painted red inside and out with an open roof, and the urinal was a 12ft length of half-round cast iron guttering, set at a 3 degree angle, draining into a hole that probably led to a lake of piss in Hades.

Boothferry Park was like the lavs in The Savoy by comparison.

My two-penneth (for what its worth): as has been said many times before; music after scoring a goal is totally unnecessary - even the ''sit down shut up'' types are up in the air when the ball hits the net, goal music is crap and pointless, end of. If we want people singing I think we need a large safe standing area where all the like minded can congregate to sing, curse and generally take the mickey without getting into bother for standing.

All grounds have people standing, most of them with more standing up than we have, without a fuss being made.

... but not legally standing, fuss or not - it could be clamped down on; safe standing is the only way forward.

Strange fans. They make loads of noise before the kick off and then during the game when they haven’t done anything like scoring a goal to earn their support.

Bit different to the MKM before the kick off as the announcer reads out the teams.<laugh>

I have, more than once. Try standing up anywhere except the part of North Stand we occupy and a section and a half in East Stand. I have seen stewards threatening to eject some young lads stood up on back row of E10. Told them to stop being silly and was threatened with ejection myself. A senior steward came and it got heated. Then a copper came and told the stewards to calm down and he wouldn’t get involved as enforcement of ground regulations wasn’t his job, Decent copper. When they realised they weren’t get any backing they shut up and disappeared.
