Not put me off. Just arrived at the pub after a dog walk for an impromptu meal and have literally just ordered Cumberland sausage with mash and onion gravy. Can’t wait.
I do probably agree but as I no longer live in Lincolnshire (where I spent 35 years after moving across the river) and now reside in Lancashire, the Cumberland was what was on offer.
Our3 wingers need to stop trying to score the winner especially Belloumi and consider passing to others - I like all 3 but their football career will not improve without the final touches .
Gluten free, bleedin' hell. If I'm reincarnated I'm returning as an adhd, on the spectrum, dyslexic, gluten/peanut intolerant (door ajar), fibromyalgic, pansexual, it's always best to fit in. That is all. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Is it true that you lot don't really eat beef sausages? I remember when I lived over there an English mate thought the idea of beef sausages was so strange but then when he tried them he thought they were brilliant.
Don't know of anywhere in Europe that have beef as their primary sausage meat tbh. Seems to be a southern hemisphere thing. Had them once in South Africa but wasn't a fan. It's what you're used to I suppose.
It's by far the dominant meat here, I find chicken/pork sausaages a bit weird in the same way I suppose. A red meat in a sausage feels much more natural.
We do have beef sausages but they ain’t that common, more of a butchers/market stall type thing. Beef and tomato sausages are pretty nice.
Yeah I remember finding them in some obscure section in Tesco and we cooked up a batch of beef sausages and my mate's mind was blown.
