He’s not back up if he’s starting. I can’t understand why Burstow doesn’t seem to be getting a chance at all now.
Thought Kamara was decent. His forgettable moment last night was obviously that one where they gifted us the ball, he took 3 (?) touches and ended it with an awful effort. Not sure what he was trying to do. Maybe even should have squared it. Other than that, whilst he might look 'chilled', I thought he got involved well, tracked back, got stuck in, didn't get bullied, looked dangerous at times - cracking cross that deserved a finish and was key in the build up to the goal, including the assist). I prefer Millar as a starter for now but to me he looks like a damn good option to bring on / as back up and at only just 21 will only get better. 52 appearances and 10 goals as a 20 y.o. for L1 winners Portsmouth last year was decent
We haven’t seen enough of him for me, to know that. I know he didn’t have a good spell at Sunderland but he must have had some promise for Chelsea to buy him back after they’d let him go. I don’t think Bedia’s done enough in a lot more minutes to warrant the time he’s been given without at least giving the kid a chance off the bench. As someone else said earlier, in regard to Pedro, he looks like another Billy (no longer) Sharp, so he’s probably only going to be useful coming off the bench. I know that sounds a bit hypocritical but I’d just like to see what Burstow can do now that we’re showing signs of improvement elsewhere in the team.
People talk about Pedro like he's nearly 40, he's only 32 and was scoring 1 in 3 in Serie A a couple of years ago, though he does currently look off the pace.
The other two are a bit **** aswell if we're being honest, now that the side seems to be settling a bit maybe he's worth another look? Might turn out to be a bit less **** than the others.
Probably because he looks older. I think he needs to be coming on for the last 20 minutes or so until he starts showing signs of being able to offer more than he did last night.
£4m overall though… we’ve not paid anywhere close to that yet. If we end up paying £4m it’s been a good signing
