Doni Spearing Shelvey Carroll Kelly Carra Aurelio This gives us a very fluid front line. Bellers and Luis leading, Downing and Maxi coming in on late runs. Think that Henderson is capable of doing the 'Lucas' role for 60 minutes, then a change for Spearo
i agree completely..... Adam has been one big name that has been kept out of cup ties. therefore although Spearing is the natural DM, hendo and adam have more experience together......So would be a better starting pair..... Absolutely loving that front line!!!
Some good looking attacking formations here, shows how promising we are looking. No one has put Carroll as a starter, think he is a possibility for this game and judging from previous away games he has started you can put a cheeky bet on him to score.

I'm not sure if I'd bother with a DMC against Fulham Code: Reina Kelly Skertl Agger Enrique Hendo Adam Maxi Kuyt Suarez Carroll Pack the centre of the midfield with attacking quality and play a high pressing game. Make Fulham play it long and out wide. Fulham do not have the quality out wide to cause us much trouble and Kelly & Enrique are quick enough to stop any pressure from the wings. Am I the only one who is really really happy that Agger is finally getting a decent run of games?
Fulham's recent results after a midweek Europa game are as follows: 0-0 Villa (h) 2-0 Wolves (a) 2-1 Newcastle (a) 2-2 Man City (h) 6-0 QPR (h) 1-3 Everton (h) 1-3 Spurs (h) They've won 1, drawn 2 and lost 4 so signs look good. It will be interesting to see if Spearing comes in as a direct replacement for Lucas or whether Henderson & Adam will be trusted in the centre. Think Bellamy & Suarez need to start as the movement they provide is brilliant. Hope Maxi starts again but after playing midweek against Chelsea think he may be on the bench. I'm going for Liverpool win 1-3 to carry on Fulham's current pattern of home defeats.
I would think something like this would be accurate. Maybe Kuyt in for Henderson though, not sure where Kenny will go with that.

Could Kenny surprise us and go for three at the back with wing-backs? Means a bit of freedom in the middle in the absence of Lucas isn't such a blow.
No way Johnson can play right wing. Johnson is effective from RB because he can see the game in front of him and run onto the ball into space. Stick him Right Wing and he will be marked by the full back and have to take a man on from standing and will receive a ball to feet or from the side, he cannot do this. He looks great attacking from right back, move him forward and he will be useless. Very different positions that sometimes seem the same.
