Walter talks about Rushworth and the other keepers here and is directly asked about whether he was due to start on Sunday before getting injured. I imagine his answer will be interpreted as the listener desires. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0jzf779?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile
"was he due to start on Sunday" "could be, could be. It's always a probability (think he means possibility) that another can start ......"
You’re just hearing what you want to not the way and the truth that the other two just know for a fact
Rushworth was one of the best goalkeepers in the Championship last year, if we’re not going to play him then send him back to Brighton with an apology and hope it doesn’t damage our future loan prospects.
Pandur has proved he's one of the best in the championship. In hindsight it was a unnecessary loan. Plus he's now injured so if we really want to, we could just say " well he was going to play, but he's now injured so we can't" the cynic in me thinks thats why we may have seen the tweet we did saying he was going to play.
