It's useful that we're picking up points while our rivals are dropping them playing each other ... ... that won't win us automatic promotion, we need a serious run for that, but it'll help keep us top six. Even a point at Luton means we're at least staying clear of some of these. Draws in both of these would do me tbh. Middlesbrough v Sheff Utd Blackburn v WBA
Back to back home wins within a few days against Watford and Sheffield United is an excellent set. I thought they would slip up tonight, do a typical Leeds performance. They grinded it out. I still think they will win the league of be fair.
By lucky i mean because of their Keeper dropping a clanger in the last minute. I agree it was a fair result though.
Watford have won one away game all season and that was on the opening day at Millwall. They’ve lost by a three goal margin away at Preston, Norwich and Luton. Leeds would have been (rightly) disappointed not to have won last night and probably are a little disappointed they didn’t boost their goal difference a bit.
I remember saying I thought he was a lazy cart horse, while others were raving about him and saying we should of pushed the boat out and bought him.
I think a lot on here agreed that we shouldn't have signed him. Others were just raging that we didn't sign him when he had that good goal scoring run from Jan n we were really struggling up front I'm so pleased we didn't sign him, I didn't think he was worth the money n while he has pace n he's a decent finisher the rest of his game is very poor imo
TBH I think people wanted a striker, any striker, to be signed ... ... it became a bit hysterical which is fair enough when people are fanatical about their club. But when you look at us play and try to imagine the likes of Kieffer Moore playing in this side it's hilarious. I watched him play for Wales recently and he was more of a passenger than fans going with Uber. He'll never score a a goal like the one Isidor scored at Hull, he'd be exhausted watching it tbh. Some of the other 'candidates' were as bad if not worse.
Boro v Sheff Utd being a draw would be my preferred result also, still think the key to this season is keeping a big gap to 7th
Couldn’t agree more I’ve had a few quid on draws in ours and Boro’s game. Expecting both to be really tight.
Having a look at that Sheff Utd squad against boro. Every time I look at them I think they look really well equiped. Hamer back on the bench too. I know not everyone agrees, but if they do click they will be a force to be reckoned with. Actually hoping Boro can see them off tonight. Sheff U much bigger threat to us than boro this season. Fancy Burnely to see off Hull.
That's some point for Celtic. Have some favourable ties the rest of this stage, could definitely see them sneaking through.
Disappointed I can't watch that, there's 3 games tonight I would've watched if they were on last night! 2-1 Barca
