He is so slow though, in playing out wide right he will never ever beat the full back, so then the move slows to nothing. He either has to come on in No.10 position or not at all. Should have got all 3 points Saito and Varane were decent enough. Frustrating last 15 sat way too deep and why the **** do we bring everyone back for corners? Gotta leave an outlet up pitch, just invites pressure!
Thought we were lucky to cling on second half. Fancied them more the longer it went on and once Smyth went off we looked done. Didn’t get a great view of down the other end but looked like Nardi had another good game to keep us in it while their keeper had nothing to do and let one in through his hands.
Disappointing result but at least it stopped the rot, Morgan done well when on & thought Saito had a good game, missed Frey as I’m sure he might have got on the end of some of those crosses that Celar didn’t
Agree with that, but prior to the last 15 or so we were the better side, but like you said we didn’t really create much to test them. Michi was a big miss tonight.
