I admire your optimism but I think we have seen that radical left policies do not suit the USA. I appreciate that you are probably talking about the moderate left because you include the centre, in the circumstances that have been with us post World War 2 that would probably work. I think the last decade has seen decisive shifts across the west to both extremes and yes the centre is vacant but I also don't see the will to fill it. The economic policies followed by most of the west for the last 45 years have increased the number of millionaires exponentially at the expense of most of the population.

The internet is revealing to the under 45s how this happened and what is different about their world to the world I grew up in. Politicians have blamed immigration and baby boomers (my lot) but with even a little research you can discover how these two groups are not the cause but their existence is spotlighted by the economics. To reverse our present course requires radical solutions and history shows us that these solutions are not usually political they are usually war.

While I am continually optimistic about Spurs I cannot say the say same for the world. My generation in Western Europe born from 1946 on, know that they have been incredibly lucky in the times they have lived. What shall we do now to amuse ourselves? has been the question. For the younger generations that luxury is disappearing fast and the question is more likely to be: What should we do to stay safe.

Agree with much of your analysis, but whilst you may be correct that an opportunity exists, I can see little or no intent or commitment to follow that path.
When a (Centrist) Labour Government gets harangued for reaching across the aisle and welcoming support from dissolusioned Centrist Tories like Gauke, whilst failing to offer a similar olive branch to Davey and the LibDems, it's hard to see a development of radical coalition policies across that 60%

I am sort of hoping that Labour notice that they were lucky to get a majority on that vote share and become converts to PR during the Parliament.

Would you Adam & Eve it, the Metropolitan Police have suddenly released evidence that says they were right to shoot Chris Kaba in the face

You know, sort of like how they suddenly found evidence that Mark Duggan was involved in the Kennedy assassination after another inquest came to the conclusion that nobody was responsible for his cold blooded murder, which apparently justified their summarily executing him and trying to plant evidence after the fact...

Remember when Wes Streeting's other half was parachuted into Stockton East before the election and lost...lost while somehow getting more votes than his more famous partner?

Well somebody found a cushy job has for him...

Another day in Fraggle Rock and another 1100 criminals are released from prison ridiculously early, with a selection of domestic abusers and sex offenders released on this farcical occasion. And all while concerned members of the British public are left in jail for posting their thoughts about the horrendous state of their country on faceshit.

By parachuted, you mean selected as a candidate in his home town?
I would agree that his extensive political experience is more 'Policy' than 'Comms', but he appears to be a strong candidate regardless of his partner's position.
But I suppose this summary doesn't make as much of an attack on Labour that Guido prefers! :emoticon-0148-yes:

And who selected him to stand for Stockton West, which is several hundred miles from his actual home in London?

I'll give you a hint: if you think it was the local party, I have some of Andrew Tate's cryptocurrency to sell you

So Trump has reported the Labour Party to the US Electoral Commission, claiming interference by a Foreign entity, by offering advice to the Democrats.
Wait until he hears about what Musk has been getting up to! <laugh>

So he was living in London. But he is from Stockton. Born there, schooled there. And his family are still there. So I guess he might have a fair knowledge of the area, and with his political experience and connections would probably make a decent MP. And sometimes, just sometimes, local parties can have parochial biases that may not be in the best interests of their Constituents.
Nah - you can keep the Tate Crypto - and admire it alongside the London Bridge you already own!! <laugh>

People were jailed after they said they were guilty of breaking the law. No one has had a trial yet apart from those who have admitted their guilt.

If you think posting stuff like "burn down all the ****ing mosques" is the same thing as "posting their thoughts about the horrendous state of the country" then you are in a bad head space and need help.
