I'm not saying this will happen, but after all the **** this season, it would be typical of Saints to suddenly find a backbone, somehow keep City out for 89 minutes and then score with our only shot on goal in the 90th minute.

 

Whilst playing with 10 men of course. That's the hope I'm clinging to or is it grasping at?

 

We'll score the quickest ever goal at The Etihad, go on to score four more, nullify City's attack, and all the pundits will say that Pep has been found out. Or something along those lines

 

But that would still leave City 6/7 minutes of added time to score 3 times.

 

Yes, that's why I refrained from saying "score the winner in the 90th minute".
