We’ve averaged 0 points per game against the current top 8 and 1.7 points per game against teams currently outside of the top 8. I think the former will go up and the latter down, with us finishing with around 54 points in total.

re corners.....We've conceded 3 goals now this year from our own corners, unless I'm missing some, the first against Shef U was a cock up by Belloumi, pure player error, the second actually came from one we swung directly into the box and the third let's call it a 50:50 Mehlem / Red ender Madley cock up....so only 2 from short corners of which one the ref helped **** it up. You'd think dropping a single player back a touch would be a simple solution.

I thought he played well in the game he played in the middle. Created chances running at the defence. He also doesn't get credit for the work he does off the ball.

My mistake, but we’re still averaging 1.2 points per game overall so far, and that’s not good enough. If you can’t beat the teams in the top 8 you won’t finish in the top 8.

We’ve played 5 of the top 14, beat none
of them, failed to score against 4 of them & managed a penalty against the other.

I'll be amazed if we hit the 70 point mark this season

This photo nicely shows what should be the main talking point.
From that shot it's clearly a red card and free kick on the edge of the box.

The only people in the stadium not to see that were the ref and the linesman

It clearly looked like he was reaching for the ball at the time. Still, it’s what ifs and buts that paper over the fact we never looked like scoring.

We looked like scoring literally in that moment the ball was handled away.

Hitting the bar was no difference to it being 20 yards over though

It's a lot closer to being a goal and was incredibly unlucky not to go in.

Why was it unlucky, it was neither lucky nor unlucky
    It wasnt on target

If it took a big deflection, sure

Closer but still not close enough
