The big thing for me is it seems he’s really proud about their analysis. Players have really bought into RLB
It was definitely outside of the box and a yellow card in the rules of the game (as the forward is not in control of the ball)
It's been a season of great goals so far - not spectacular but excellent in their own way. Isidor's is another to add to them. Extremely well taken and, from Trai's comments above, much more well crafted than it seemed. Isidor's lightning pace will have made a few other teams sit up and take notice, as well.
I am in Western Australia which at the minute is 7 hours ahead of UK so I watched match at 10 at night lol
The midweek games have a few where points will be dropped by someone around us. If we keep grabbing results, while they're kicking lumps out of each other, we can stay in the top six. Hopefully Hull, and their weirdo manager, will feel so aggrieved by their defeat yesterday that they throw everything at Burnley. I'd be happy with draws everywhere else including our game. Leeds United v Watford Preston North End v Norwich City Blackburn Rovers v West Bromwich Albion Hull City v Burnley Middlesbrough v Sheffield United
No player should be 7/1 to get booked. There’s always great value for our players. Jobe 4/1 v Leeds. Roberts 7/1 v Hull. I’ll decide who the value against Luton is on Wednesday afternoon please log in to view this image
Just watching the full 90 minutes and have to say I was wrong, to a degree, about Roberts. I didn't think he'd contributed much but, in reality, he created more than Mundle. He's frustrating, granted, but put in some good balls that weren't attacked by us. As soon as he receives the ball we should be making runs otherwise he has to hold onto the ball too long. Time after time he's in space to cross and there's only Isidor getting into the box. Mundle stays wide left, way too much, and the midfield stay around the D. We end up with Roberts, Rigg and Hume playing triangles until a ball goes into the box by which time they have all of their players back. Roberts need to beat his man and get it across, even with his weaker right foot ... ... but it's pointless unless we have players in the box.
Second half he went down the big hole that had been created by the right footed defender and got some value. If he’d done that first half we may have got a goal. It also felt like Hume overlapping with his right foot would have helped but he was otherwise engaged.
That would set us up for the Oxford game which we really need to win, all the other games are very 'winnable' for our rivals. Only Watford v Blackburn and Norwich v Boro look like draws.
I know what you mean but in the first half I think he was guilty of sometimes slowing the momentum of the attack. Still think he is good but could do with a goal
Was a silly card to get aswell you must have been chuffed seeing him drag the player down like he did!
I don't really do betting. If Roberts is given a straight red for that, do you get your money? Or does it have to be a booking?
If he brings him down without making an attempt for the ball, it’s a straight red. if he tries to tackle and misses the ball and catches the man, it’s a yellow and a penalty
