I know this seems fairly defeatist of me but I’m not really interested in how many points off 3rd we are. I’m looking at how many off 7th.

we are now 6 points off 7th. That’s an absolutely brilliant start to the season and achieving what for me would have been a stretch target this year.

Absolute cop out if they think the ref was at fault. The actual corner was poor, the touch was poor, the decision to not make the easy pass was poor, the turn was poor, the decision to not leave someone back was poor, Isidor reacting quicker than multiple Hull players was poor. Keep your own house in order before blaming others.

Nah, no luck,,,they never had a shot on target, so even if they got a penalty they'd of probably missed :emoticon-0148-yes: <laugh>

Big admission to make today, we watched the lasses play (with a couple of glasses of wine) and then I filled my hip flask up with Hague club whisky and went outside to dismantle rotten pallet furniture for an hour.

I rolled back in just before the lads kicked off very tight so my perspective is possibly warped.

Felt like we won this game at a canter (again) my star players are

    1. Isador
    2. Mephan
    3. Jobe
    4. Mundle
Very proud of both teams today :1980_boogie_down:

I'm def enjoying it while it lasts and I think we have a cracking chance of promotion this season

Just know how tough the championship can be and it's really my only concern so far

We are top of the league n we haven't had a fully fit team to pick from and still got more gears to go up imo so def excited about what could be

Sky can **** off with this "controversial goal" ****. If the defender hadn't tried to Cruyff turn his way out of trouble he wouldn't have got caught in possession

Yep I'm really not getting this controversial goal stuff, they mucked up n we were clinical

Embarrassing behaviour from their manager tbh, they played better start of the 2nd half but they never looked like scoring outside when they hit the bar

Each season I usually wait till 10 played then see how far were off the relegation places.
However this season is very different<laugh>

Sad to say but, if Burstow can't get on the pitch for Hull City ...

... what the hell was he doing at Sunderland.

Did Speakman take him on as a favour to Chelsea?

Superb result. The biggest difference between last season and this one is that we're capable of fully capitalising on any opportunities to win games. Give us a sniff and we're snatching your whole meal.
