Real shame that, I felt we could’ve gone on to win. Awful ref with two big moments going against us.

 

can't criticise the lads for that, played well but a refereeing performance to rival Gavin ward Vs reading. They talk about refs who like to make themselves star of the shows well Madleys just shown em all how that's done

 

Hard to win without a single attempt on target

 

Not sure why people are saying the ref wasn’t at fault, firstly he’s a ****, remember him sending off Niasse when it was no way a red, he directly got involved in the way and not to mention a blatant penalty for handball.

 

Did enough to earn a point but for yet another corner cockup.

 

A ref that misses a blatant handball and red card doesn’t ****ing help.

 

Played against 12 men today, these lot or definitely no great shakes, Sunderland will definitely not be in the top half come the end of the season….. a better last ball and we’d of definitely of won that

Every single player within 20 yards of their goal, at 0-0 on 62 minutes. Again.

An abysmal attacking performance can be glossed over by blaming the ref

I've said this maybe 5 times this season now when we've lost.... were they better than us... NO!!!... have we lost the game YES!!!

 

We were well on top until their goal. That being said, for all our great play, we didn’t fashion more than one good chance. Ref obviously had a stinker and gifted them a goal, but we can’t hope to get anything more than a point if we can’t get a shot on target

 

Gotta be honest here, 2 big moments have cost us here, both down to fat barsteward Maddely, overall we were a lot more solid, but we need a lot of work on our final ball. Definite improvement with Hughes at the back, and Puerta looks decent, but our front line looks so blunt, and midfield powderpuff. Gonna be a long season me thinks.

 

Well, a bit like Deja Vu, similar to the last game at home against them, Stewart got a break away goal. Deserved a point in fairness, ref ****e as usual.
