Angel I guess, cos it got axed and ended in the middle of a story. Can we only talk about old TV shows here then? Cos The Boys is the best thing on TV right now by miles.
It’s a Knock Out. Including the European Super League version. Jeux sans frontières Brilliant programme and funny in a slapstick kind of way.
That was funny, I never noticed his deformed hand back in the day. I wish I could bring back Bullseye, for Jim Bowen's painful attempts at humour, the crap prizes and folks from some Birmingham high rise council estate winning speed boats.
No but I meant the ‘star’ and other than breaking the chassis to my car he never stopped going on about it.
Ah, the old "Jeremy Beadle has a big cock, but on the other hand it's quite small" joke. Those were the days.
Angel was great, although it must have been 20 years ago when I watched it. Most other stuff finished with a logical conclusion, or went on and on for way too long, that got axed mid storyline though.
80s to early 90s, Beadle was everywhere, was the ITV equivalent of Noel Edmonds in that sense. Beadles About was great, all went to **** for him when he got lumbered with that dogshit You've Been Framed show.
Loved it when they went for the star prize with Jim getting them to wheel out the small yacht that somebody in Coton in the Elms had just won.
Yeah, it was much darker than Buffy though, and much better. I did like Buffy, but Angel was far better.
As a kid, I absolutely loved shows like Monkey & Blakes 7 and all the old Saturday morning series they used to rerun, like Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, Lone Ranger. I bet they all look totally ****e now.
Blake's 7 always looked ****e, it was famous for it, it was some wannabe Star Trek with the sets made on Blue Peter with a couple of big rolls and some cellotape.
