No response from me to the match as I was out last night at the theatre.

I also find it somewhat perverse that a few posters on here ‘enjoy’ watching us lose.

We weren’t good but it wasn’t a ‘West Ham’. We are trying to change system and haven’t got it right yet. I recall saying last season that EH would be scrutinized by the Board constantly and would need to improve on last season and November/December would be a crucial period. To counter balance that though the Board will appreciate that if you don’t keep upgrading your players as we have failed to do then you will go backwards and that is down to the recruitment team which isn’t just EH and is primarily not EH.

And for the avoidance of doubt being a ‘Bedwetter’ isn’t just denoting someone with a negative outlook it is someone who panics and over reacts in a childlike manner.

    Absolute garbage.

You were crying and panicking all of last season when we just failed to get into Europe. Eventually EH will leave or be sacked but it doesn’t mean your whinging for all the time he’s been here was correct.

My bad. Just reread the post. You have been consistent. Consistently panicking and over reacting. I’ll concede that point to you.

It's not GG's fault Newcastle lost.

The game? Best performance just the same problems. They can't score and a soft touch at the back... that's a big problem right ?

    Top 8 looks tough.

What the crap are you talking about?

I stated what the bookies odds were at the start of the game, we were favourites, just like Arsenal were favourites to beat Bournemouth.

Waiting for us to lose every game just to start saying I told you so and reel off endless ****e about the world ending is tedious and dull.

Remember them days when we were in the champions league. Remind me how we got there and what position we finished in?

We played all out attacking football
    and we.finished 2nd to Manu

    <whistle>
maybe because I can remember further back

A whole 25 years of broken hopes and promises, but I never gave up
    It's what supporters do

No one is saying it is his fault we lost. Some of us are just somewhat bemused that he is ‘happy’ that we lost as he claims it vindicates his bedwetting for the last 18 months or so.

We have issues to address, clearly. But sacking the manager will not always resolve the problems as it would depend upon who replaces him and how we address the recruitment issue given particularly the last two transfer windows.

It wasn't Howes fault that Isak didn't score when one on one with the keeper when normally you would expect him to round the keeper
Or when Gordon was also one on one and shot tamely at the keeper
Likewise it wasn't Howes fault that Tino was too weak to stop Welbeck from scoring
It's the constant finger pointing scapegoating of a few after a bad result when it's a team game

Here's the thing if you engage in a back and forth debate and nonsense everything the other person claims then they are going to find you when the outcome is determined and your target was actually correct.(I would know)

What's tediousness is the hypocrisy actually... rewind to the wolves games you were all out in force.

People are annoyed because Newcastle didn't win and there's some people that are easy targets on here when that happens.

People need to give and take a bit .. I'm a reasonable bloke, I engage in the banter but if you want to take the piss when the likes of myself are wrong then don't mouth at me with when the boots on the other foot.

I find people continually convincing themselves that Newcastle will finish top 4 the past year tedious, but I guess you're too wrapped up in your own emotions and opinions to consider that.

    Is he happy though?

I noticed he was calling people out but come on lads you know you guys do the same

Fair enough on what you're saying about the issues and Howe. I suppose changing manager could work out worse. See West Ham for details.

    Embrace the situation.

Be positive! I've always said that people that can find embrace the negatives are destined for greatness.

I am not happy we lost? I didn’t say that either?

I am just at the point where I think we need to change things up a bit. We have gone backwards recently.

Howe is still making the same mistakes. Plays the same formation. Never changes it up.

His subs yesterday were confusing at best. Crazy at worst.

Come on guys let's just move on to the next game.

Everyone is right and wrong sometimes. Just accept the defeat and move on.

Your right changing the manager doesn’t guarantee things improve. But sitting doing the same thing doesn’t change things either.

    Yes x1000000.

The ridiculous reaction to us losing a game 0-1 was so embarrassing it verged on comical. Anyone who dared to suggest anything positive was told I told you so, and doom and gloom for the next 5 years or whatever was foretold. And in Roland's case, we actually went back in time and changed our results to move us further down the table.

We're 8th after 8 games, same place as we were this time last season and better points than 2 seasons ago. Things can improve, but they ain't terrible right now.

I hope they do improve. The next couple of games are difficult mind.

    Let’s see what happens.

    By the way
Has anyone else noticed that we have either lost the toss on all 4 home games this season and the opposition have chose to kick towards Gallowgate in the second half or we are choosing to kick the opposite way to what we have normally done for years and years
