There's a kid that plays with the grandson in his teams that does that every game. Half the time they go all over the place but every now and again they hit the target!
Red card cost Arsenal big style there. So unnecessary. Not convinced that Raya is an upgrade on Ramsdale either.
I like watching Arsenal but even before the red Arsenal were terrible at the back. That wasn’t Arsenal.
I really hate watching Arsenal this season. To me they’re over reliant on their defending and physicality. They’ve been a grind whenever I’ve seen them so far in 24/25. Think they’re capable of more than they’ve shown, which they’ll need as I don’t think you can take a title off Pep’s City playing as they are.
Just watching the Cardiff v Plymouth highlights, commentators seem adamant Sissoko's red card was inarguable but doesn't he just push the guy in the shoulders causing him to 'fall over'? That's not a legitimate straight red is it?
Some of these people are cringingly embarrassing ... ... but you wouldn't have any chance of explaining, to them, just why. Absolutely desperate https://x.com/____Pingu____/status/1847720705711898822 please log in to view this image
I'm not convinced that a push on the shoulders whether it's on or off the ball should be a straight red. Just read he actually grabbed him by the throat, I wasn't aware of that from the angle I saw it from and in that case red all day long.
Two things about the red card. Firstly he apparently got fouled and was on the floor holding his leg. Ng kicks the ball against him and miraculously his leg doesn't hurt anymore or isn't broken or hanging off because he is on his feet in a flash to have a go. I hate player simulation even if it is one of our own. Second is he grabbed Ng at the neck and pushed him. Now Ng made a meal of that and easily fell over but you cannot put your hands around anyone's neck. He overreacted badly and it was a red card all day long. The only thing I would question is that the person who instigated the reaction, as inappropriate as it was, remained on the pitch. Kicking a ball at a prone player is also violent conduct in my book. Apart from that all of our players should have been sent off today for impersonating professional footballers.
Sometimes yes, sometimes no ... ... in this case he went for the player aggressively off the ball. Red card all day long. To be fair you have a different book to the real one ... ... possible yellow but, to be fair, football players are used to having the ball kicked at them
Aye I hadn't realised he'd grabbed the bloke by the throat there's no debate about the red there. He did get played though, as shown by the Cardiff player doing the fist pump to the bench afterwards. Still, there are certain things you can't do on the pitch and that's one of them.
