Cifuentes be next I think. Spoke to a qpr fan in the week and he reckons it has been really awful this year. Quite a turnaround for him. I often think some coaches need a guiding hand to turn around a run. He might just be out of his depth there.
Funny how quick coaches we think are the next big thing flop under pressure. Funny old game as someone once said. I hope QPR and Sheff Wed show patience, as a bad run does not overrule a good one. But sadly coaches get no time or loyalty in many cases. Personally ai think Cifuentes is the emporers new clothes but Rohl has a real chance. Lets see.
The thirst of getting to the promised land of the PL isn't all its cracked up to be imo. It's a closed shop, if they sack McKenna they deserve all they get. Double relegations do actually exist.
McKenna is a very, very good coach. He's a really good bloke too. Am sure Ipswich's owners aren't seriously considering it
A few of those coaches under pressure were linked to us as decent options in the summer. Funny old game football. Find it ridiculous that McKenna is being criticized by the supporters. But i guess it would probably happen at most clubs.
That's the social media fan for ya, every club has them What mckenna has done there us unbelievable and he deserves time
Ipswich getting rid of McKenna would be absolutely ridiculous. He's literally the only reason they're in the Premier League. I can absolutely understand Southampton getting rid of Martin though. He did a **** job with that squad last year even though they ended up promoted.
Glasner in trouble? Ended the season extremely well and I thought they'd be decent this season but they look so poor.
Im shocked that we are almost in November and hardly any coaches have gone from the top 2 leagues. either there is going to be a wave of sackings soon, surely?
If O'Niel doesn't get anything from their next two home haves, Palace and Southampton he's gone. Next up, Brighton away. Martin is only living on the cup run, getting beat of Stoke and he will be gone, unless, relegation and the parachute payment was the plan all along. Glasner is now concentrating on not shipping goals rather than scoring them, they have some tough games comming up and a cup game against Villa. They might all be gone by the end of November.
It is encouraging sackings are being held off for me. Coaches deserve time. Give them a contract and let them do their job. I would love to see a season where no prem managers go. Certainly I see no logic in sacking a manager of a promoted club. The one that maybe should be under most pressure is the lad at West Ham. I thought they looked like a Sunday league side against Tottenham. A mate of mine is a Hammer and he says it is night and day compared to Moyes, who he wasnt altogether a fan of.
That's fine, to a degree, but if it's clear the manager doesn't fit he needs to go as quickly as possible. Beale had to go for example, no point letting that drag on. The same goes for the likes of Gareth Ainsworth who I wouldn't employ as a kit man.
