Well the investment thing is an unknown really. People say he'd have invested if he could but there's no way of knowing for certain whether that's true either way.

Personally I'd never the trust the word of somebody with a history of corruption but each to their own I guess.

Abramovic was a crook wasn’t he? Did alright by Chelsea though. Most people with that sort of money are either crooks themselves, or very close to crooked leaders of corrupt countries.

    Marcus Liebherr was exceptionally rare.

Is Solak interfering? SR aren't the owners, or am I missing something?

Rasmus holds a senior position within the club, he doesn't have a stake in it as far as I know?

Well of course but giving how lenient the fit and proper test has been shown to be over the years then the fact they thought he shouldn't own a football club is a huge red flag - this is the same test that let a bloke who didn't even exist take over the blue few.

I've no time for anyone willing to commit crime who turns grass as soon as **** hits the fan tbh.

If we’d lost 1-0 with that Fraser decision then I could see the board staying with him for awhile longer.

But being 2 up at HT and losing to a relegation rival at home and losing just makes it that much worse from the fans perspective so can see the tide really turning now and once that happens the writing is usually on the wall. Hard to see how he turns it around as we’ve had our two easiest home games of the season on paper and conceded in the last minute of both of them to drop 3 points in total

Complete respect and admiration for what RM did last summer - managed and stopped what we all thought was going to be a mass exodus, and then ultimately finding a way to get us promoted which is all that mattered.

My biggest issue with him however is he shows next to no signs of learning from his mistakes or a willingness to adapt.

The writing is on the wall for me - you can see what is going to happen before it happens, it’s so predictable and far too easy.

It reminds me a lot of Southgate and England - RM is the guy we will need next summer when we inevitably get relegated to steady the ship once again, but he isn’t the guy we need to give ourselves the best chance of staying up this season.

I love the guy to bits but maybe it is time to change but with all these financial restrictions which only benefit the bigger clubs I really don't see us being anything but relegation fodder whom ever we bring in.

    An interesting question then.

Genuine reaction of Southgate was named our next manager?

I think I’d be okay with it

Yup - it’s hard because he’s a decent guy (bare the odd post match interview here and there)..

I’d be tempted to stick with him for the rest of the season if I thought it would be good for his development, and make us better for a second crack at the premier league under him in 2 seasons time - but I just can’t see it, he never seems to learn or take any experience from games like today, so what’s the point?

He simply isn’t good enough - and more importantly I don’t think ever will be.

For me, that’s why he has to go.

Out of the frying pan into the fryer - I think you are literally swapping like for like.

Two great man managers and people who can steady the ship - but two managers who are tactically inept and unable to influence a game from the sidelines with their subs or tactical changes
