    That is perfectly fine. I have no qualms with him becoming unpopular due to results, and THEN people using the whole geordie thing as a tool to abuse him.

    However, my point is that he wasn't sacked due to his 'background' at all, and as I said, if he had led you guys to some great things, then I'm sure that the geordie thing would have never been uttered.

    It's called posh geordie. I do it when I'm on the phone sometimes. It's particularly difficult to say 'my' instead of 'me' but Bruce has nailed it.

    Of course his being a geordie has nothing to do with it. We even have a statue to a former Newcastle player at the SOL to prove it.

    Nothing to do with him being a geordie, his tactics got him in the s**te and he did not have the brains to get out of it! The only link is him having no brains and being a newcastle supporter<laugh>
