Fair enough. It’s still very early days. If we finish above either of these - we’ll be winning promotion. IMO
Such a high level game this, especially by Leeds. Followed a similar pattern to our game vs Leeds where Sheff Utd started on top but as soon as Leeds got to grips with the opposition system they began to dominate. From minute 10 to 45 I don't think Sheff Utd had a serious attack or even a spell of possession. The positions Gnonto and Ramazani are picking up are impossible for Sheff Utd to deal with within their system. Tanaka is a serious player at the base of midfield. I don't think Piroe suits this side at all, wouldn't be surprised to see Jospeh on quite early and I think Leeds will go big on a striker in January. Still think Leeds will win, their dominance will turn into goals.
In 1 off games we can match any team in the league, it's just going to be can we do it over a full season We have so far made the fewest subs in the league and we haven't really changed the starting line up much - that could come back to haunt us as the season goes on
I didn’t know that but it doesn’t come as a surprise. RLB hasn’t impressed me with his timing/choice/lack of subs in a few games already.
Yep not making subs can bite us in the arse but is that down to the way the team is playing or RLB not trusting the subs in the bench? I suppose we'll find out further down the line
Yeh for my money these are the best two sides in the league. We could beat either of them on our day but if we played both 100 times each we’d lose more than we win.
