I know it's going back a bit, but as far as I can remember the sun was a newspaper and the comet was a boy's comic - both the same really.

I'd never heard of it.
I can see why though. They stopped publishing it 5 years before I was born.
Just saying.

 

My elder brother (by 13 years) took it along with Hotspur and Wizard - didn't like those two because there weren't many pictures ............

My choice was Dandy and the Beano - I was obviously a sophisticato in my time.

 

Beezer, Dandy, Beano, Hotspur, Victor. All mainstays of my formative years.

To be followed by Health and Efficiency (early pixilation for naughty bits), Playboy, Mayfair and more.

Growing up wasn't so bad was it?

 

I borrowed an edition of H&E from Masky once but the pages were all stuck together so I binned it.

Actually I flew out of Cardiff this morning to the sunny climes of Kos.
Just warning you all that I might be laying it on a bit thick this week while it’s pissing down back home
