Sort of. The left-back position is the weak link. Trippier wasn't right there but did a job and we're now looking for someone else to. Can't blame TAA that Shaw is a crock, Chilwell has struggled and there's a lack of obvious options there. We do need to play a LB in that position though, even someone like Dan Burn (other options are available - Tyrick Mitchell, Levi Colwell as LB, Lewis Hall,etc) at least is a LB even if he's not a very good player. Playing better players in that position and trying to convince everyone they can "do a job" doesn't seem to be a great idea.
Thought Mitchell finished last season very well and deserved to go to the Euros. Got a couple of caps two years ago and not seen since. Arnold just had the chance to cross on his left, decided to try the outside of his right and just twatted it out of play.
It’s a nice strike albeit the keeper should be stopping it. Don’t think it’s worth having a couple of those a year for such mediocrity defensively.
