It more that I was suprised at him calling other places freezing cold, I like Yorkshire but hot it ain't.
The race track he mentioned is up top on open ground the wind blows cold there most the time. But the Yorkshire moors it aint
Maidstone in the first round of the FA Cup, that would make an interesting Kent derby game for my lot.
They were worthy of their win, not quite sure what that says about my lot. Will absorb the rest of the results later when I can be arsed.
All these leagues below the Prem are dumb and the league table matters little on any given day. Nice Wimbledon won now they’ve fixed the pitch albeit against Carlisle who are terrible.
My lads there. Remember them going to M'boro when they were PL, and coming away with a very credible 3-2 defeat, after winning at Hull and Cardiff both away in the first 2 rounds. The Cardiff game showed why their fans are complete scum.
I'm really surprised about Carlisle they weren't a bad side, fook knows what is going on there. Certainly not a side that I would have expected to see any where near the bottom. As you say the table matters little, especially at the mo anyway. Give it until January and we should have a better idea of what's what.
Probably meant 'ability' rather than 'capacity'... capacity suggests a predilection for being mental... Wait though - on reflection, you might just have nailed it
This is the sort of reaction I want from England fans. https://x.com/awaydays_/status/1845177413350592982?s=46&t=GjXW4PhG0s7kgSMl8GkTkwNo
Fortunately as with the ‘support all English teams in Europe’ idea now being all but dead, supporting the other home nations is too. Except Northern Ireland and they’re too **** to dislike anyway.
