Get a ****ing grip - are you getting your info from ****ing Q Anon or something? https://apnews.com/article/fact-check-trump-order-national-guard-156055113284 And here's some more: https://www.lawfaremedia.org/articl...red-requests-speak-out-and-failed-act-quickly https://www.politico.com/news/2024/04/17/trump-jan-6-capitol-riot-national-guard-00152757 That's all apart from the humungous mountains of corroborated evidence presented by the Jan 6th Committee. As for FBI plants... ffs. And yes, he figuratively speaking did have to be dragged screaming and kicking out of the Oval Office. But the final proof in the pudding? Why don't we ask Mike Pence, the VP he tried to threaten physically to do his illegal bidding, what he thinks of Trump as a president that would uphold the constitution: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-65839793
One of the things that protected the US from a megalomaniac President are the two houses and the fact that the Federal govt run most of the 'nuts and bolts' of Government and are largely bipartisan like our civil service. But project 2025 would seek to undo those protections and allow a Presidential appt of key parts of Govt which would lead to an autocratic dictatorial style of Presidency, which is exactly what Trumps wants.
The 'so stupid' reference was the point mate ... not the specific incident that proved it beyond any doubt
Two. One of them never suggested injecting yourself with bleach. I'll let you use your judgement to decide which one did.
And this 'He rang Raffenperger in Georgia to question the result" malarkey - the call was on the 2nd January after his own lawyers had tried and failed in the courts to have the election results overturned in 6 swing states where he had lost, and he'd been told by his own Attorney General, Bill Barr (whom he personally appointed) that there was no evidence of any electoral fraud that could have affected those results in any way shape and form. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-66377871 So, therefore, what, having been told all of this right up to and including the SCOTUS, was he calling Republican governors and election officials like Raffensperger for? Just a 'normal call' as he labels it? A normal call when he threatens Raffensperger with criminal protection if he doesn't find him 11k votes? This despite the courts already having investigated his fraud claims and - by mostly Republican-appointed judges - being dismissed as nonsense? Yeah, but call all the Republican officials anyway just before certification and tell them what a good job they were doing. My arse.
The electric batteries that would sink boats and put the occupants at risk of shark attacks was the one that got me
What's more mental is that he can spout this **** and his supporters just lap it up without question. I was in San Francisco watching the debate between him and Harris.... 'They're eating the Dawgs!' I was switching between ABC who hosted it and FOX news for the analysis, and the lack of critical analysis from FOX about that claim was notable. They were just trying in vain to say that he landed a few punches, when it was clear to anybody watching that he was just on one of his random rants.
I watched that live in bed, and he got mullered every bit as much in that debate as Biden did in the one back in July (I watched that too, in total horror). In fact, whilst Biden was the architect of his own demise that night to a degree that not many noticed the utter **** that Trump was spouting, including the continued bizarre claim that babies were being aborted after they'd been born. The right-wing media just couldn't handle that a smart, trained, FEMALE barrister just pressed all his buttons as she put him in the dock, pulled his kecks down, and spanked him on live telly. He's still claiming he won that though...
