That's all they have, to be fair. They're trying to out-Farage Reform Ltd PLC or whatever UKIP's calling itself now.
Far-right populism is very popular nowadays, largely due social media and the traditional media being bought up by scum.
The Yanks have pointed out that a load of self-identified centrist pundits are on the take from Russia and it's barely registered.
**** knows what our intelligence services have been doing for the last 14 years or so. They probably got sold off to G4S for a tenner.

They tried to game the system and eliminated their own preferred candidate!

It's obvious that Braverman (and probably one or two others) decided they wanted to be the next leader, so they'd have some poor sap take the flak of inheriting a mess before they step in to "save" the party

Sort of like what the randy Honey Monster did in 2016, in other words...

Well, now the Tory members - all 180k of them - will have a choice of their preferred two options. Because they believe they have to win back the Reform vote.
Which is particularly amusing, as I have read two independent analysis of the Tory challenge for significance and both were clear that they should be looking at the recovery in this order:
    1. Shoring up their own voters
    2. Recovery of the Lib Dem switchers and then only finally
    3. The Northern / Reform vote.
1&2 likely being larger and easier to achieve.

That they have ****ed this up must come as music to Labours ears! <laugh>

They're a ****ing shambles. Didn't learn a thing from their Brexit capitulation. Give these lunatics an inch and they'll take a mile.

"Meet me in the middle", says the unjust man. You take a step towards him, he takes a step back.
"Meet me in the middle", says the unjust man. - possibly A.R. Moxon.

    Keith, Keith, Keith...

This is a demonstrable lie, because only one ship was torpedoed in the Falklands War - and it wasn't defending anything, given it was sailing away from the Exclusion Zone when the Royal Navy torpedoed it

So which side was your uncle fighting for exactly?

This story is getting better by the minute...
It now appears to be confirmed that Cleverly lost out because he tried to be 'clever' - trying to select his preferred opponent in the final playoff. And it all went wrong - with Jenrick taking his place! <doh>
And better still...this tactic was devised by that master politician, Grant ManyNames Shapps!! - who is now apparently persona non grata in the Cleverly camp! <laugh>

If his uncle was on a ship that got hit - either by Exocet or aircraft attack - then I imagine it was just the wrong word to use. A non-story in that case.
If he wasn't though, then it probably won't end well - possibly even worse a fate than his uncle suffered! <laugh>

His uncle was serving on the HMS Antelope, which was sunk by an Argentinian bomb dropped by a fighter jet.

**** me, how difficult is it to wipe someone off the planet? First two humans either miss or get caught in the act - and now God cannot even manage to direct the biggest storm in history 30m south to Mar a Lago!! <doh> <laugh> #Milton

On the subject of people whose forte isn't speaking in public. Or private. Or at all...

So much for her talk of not making gaffes, eh?

Errrm, about that: It was not sunk by a bomb dropped by an Argentine fighter jet, it was sunk by a couple of pan-handed members of the Royal Engineers who were called on to diffuse a dud bomb after three attempts to diffuse it remotely failed so they decided to try it on-site and wound up making the bomb work perfectly

In other words, this means that either Starmer did not know this and that makes him incompetent, or he does know this which means he lied in Parliament - while also giving a damn good case for Argentine sovereignty considering how dangerous the British are to Royal Navy ships in the area...

FFS Croydon! <doh> Give it up, man! Starmer is making enough actual **** ups that it might be best focusing on those rather than Fail-like fiction! <laugh>

Irrelevant, as that wasn't the direct cause of the sinking

Which Starmer should know - or he did but thought nobody else would
The thing is that this does need bringing up because of how casually he lied, and what stands out is he always tries to weave a family member into his biggest whoppers one way or another
