Which is particularly amusing, as I have read two independent analysis of the Tory challenge for significance and both were clear that they should be looking at the recovery in this order: 1. Shoring up their own voters 2. Recovery of the Lib Dem switchers and then only finally 3. The Northern / Reform vote. 1&2 likely being larger and easier to achieve. That they have ****ed this up must come as music to Labours ears!

Errrm, about that: It was not sunk by a bomb dropped by an Argentine fighter jet, it was sunk by a couple of pan-handed members of the Royal Engineers who were called on to diffuse a dud bomb after three attempts to diffuse it remotely failed so they decided to try it on-site and wound up making the bomb work perfectly In other words, this means that either Starmer did not know this and that makes him incompetent, or he does know this which means he lied in Parliament - while also giving a damn good case for Argentine sovereignty considering how dangerous the British are to Royal Navy ships in the area...
