I'm surprised you were the one to fall for it, 'Scott's Porage Oats have been milled in Scotland since 1880'. I had a bowl of them earlier.
'Arseholes to you'. Twowrights 2:1 (fingers in the air) :emoticon-0138-think

Always had them when very young as my grandparents would have no other. With them being Scottish alway’s thought the name referred to that. Not very observant not noticing the extra t in the name.<laugh>They are the brand leader in Scotland. So popular with Scots and not so much with Sassenachs living there.<laugh>

My grandad always did. Never took to that. Always liked the cream off the top of the milk, another bygone thing, on mine.

We always had steri early on when we had no fridge because it lasted longer. Just carried on with it after we got a fridge.
    I don't like porridge btw :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I wouldn’t like anything with steri in it. Vile. We didn’t have a fridge but fortunately never had steri.

As kids it's just what we had, knew nothing different. Couldn't go back to it now though.
