http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...to-move-on-as-club-threaten-legal-action.html

Pardew believes Barton should move on. “I keep asking myself why does he keep popping up,” said Pardew, who fought to keep Barton at Newcastle despite opposition from the board. “Why is he doing it? This Twitter thing might be the answer.

“The only focus as a manager of this club is the team and it is a team that is doing exceptionally well and, unfortunately, Joey’s comments take away the positive nature of what we are doing here. It’s a bit frustrating.”

Barton just needs to shut his ****ing mouth. He's not at the club any more, he's with the Hoops now. Any remote semblance of him being idolized by fans will disappear if he keeps up this ****; pretentious twat.

**** OFF Barton. He's only making noise because he wants us all to believe he and Nolan where the best thing ever and can't stand the fact we've got better players now.

I just wonder what QPR fans think of him, always going on about Newcastle. It's quite disrespectful to the club who pay his wages.

Nice to see Pardew respond as well, in the press conference he's clearly starting to get pissed off at Barton.

Barton keeps talking out of his Hoop.

He maybe telling the truth, but twists it to suit himself. End of the day he won't achieve anything other than making himself look a dick and distancing himself from both Newcastle and QPR fans.

Give the lad a break. He's just sad he isn't playing for a quality club anymore. Now all he's got left to fall back on is twatter and a direct link to Google's top 10 philosopher's quotes.

Please himself for me, I'm not really interested. Pardew should just ignore it and concentrate on the job in hand. The journalists soon get bored if you just keep responding "no comment". Its between Joey and the two cretins. I have a feeling Joey will come out 2nd best again.

Just stuck a quick comment on the related thread on the QPR board to see what they think. In fairness theres only about three of them so it might take a while, but I'm still interesting to see whether they're bored of hearing about us from their captain.

I wonder if any bottom half Premier League player has ever generated as many column inches as Joey has? I can't think of any, even El Hadj Diouf had a spell at Liverpool.

And it would appear he knows he'll come out 2nd best. Too late Joey, you've already called them names, Mike and Derek are gonna DP you again! In all seriousness fair play to Joey if he has made those comments, shows he still respects Pardew for all his efforts to keep him. I take back my comments on Pardew keeping shut, it seems his powers are far reaching!

He's had an epiphany it seems:

Said all of them before the Pardew tweet, and his current picture is this:

Barton, whilst he was correct in what he said, needs to concentrate on captaining his own side and focus on QPR. It's really disrespectful for them to hear him bleating on about us, imagine how we'd feel if we got the impression the only reason so-and-so signed for us was because they hated the hierarchy at their past club and were only here because no-one else wanted them

Would love to! What does he want broken first? <ok>

Good response from Pardew, managed that well IMO.(as he has done with everything since he came in!) <applause>

"Barton’s latest claim was that he had been forced out because of a row over bonuses, although The Daily Telegraph understands he was never on the player committee that failed to reach an agreement last season."

Hm, not sure actually. Just had a quick nose but couldn't find it.

Those three I'm pretty sure I heard about, but I don't know if there was anyone else. Could imagine Mr. Lover going for it though, maybe Jose.
