Basic cakes are a piece of piss, that's why I make them. 6oz SF flour 4oz sugar 4oz marg 2 eggs splash in a bit of milk (though I switched that out for amoretto for this one) If you want fruit cake throw in a load of fruit, if you want chocolate switch out 1oz of flour for cocoa and throw in some cooking chocolate. mix it together and in the oven at 150c in a fan oven for around 45-55 mins.
I like what you did there with the gifs Ponkie Lolz and yeah me too…watch bare videos on YouTube of hurricanes and such like they look like ****ing monsters coming towards you I’ve always thought if I lived them ends I’d be a storm chasing **** putting all my money into them vehicles they have set up for the chase.
Seen a few really cool storms living on the Med, and one scared the **** out of me. We were all on the roof of the villa, which was on the top of a hill, and most of us were pointing upwards at the storm in typical lightning rod poses. A huge strike came over our heads, no delay between the sight and sound of it, you could really feel it's power. I was sure one of us were going to be hit so **** out and went downstairs and watched it from the safety of the window.
No worries Bobster - great deterrent is to rub jam in your hair and dance the robot around the nest - confuses the hell out of them - don't forget to take pics and send updates
They have hurricanes every year mate, all names pre-determined by the alphabet...ie Hurricane Andrew was the first storm that particular year and a bad one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_Andrew I use to plan my trips for late October to avoid them as much as possible and the heat is not so intense, also avoiding June when they tend to have most rain. Anthing between June through to October should be noted you cound encounter a problem of some sort. I've managed to avoid hurricanes but did once get hit by a tropical storm with a water spout, that was scary enough as I was driving at the time, and made a few mistakes that I will never forget, one is not taking shelter and attempting to outrun it and it cut across my path....made even worse because I entered a bridge crossing. In simple terms don't fook with nature. Best weather I felt I ever had was one December in the Keys, much cooler, less rain and no hurricanes...delightful.
I always love seeing your pics Bobby when you go to HK, I find them fascinating, it gives me a sense of how your gramps lives, looks lovely, and how modern infastructure is creeping slowly towards/across the lands of bygone generations and that of your family. Much the same with modern development in London and how the skyline has changed. Enjoy mate, it's great to make memories.
Yeah it is 5 hours. So 8.30am at the mo, probably 7.45am when you posted. I googled sunrise for Orlando and it was 7.23am, Miami was 6 mins earlier. Edit: and then add in the factor of storm clouds will make it seem darker.
