Quite, you just have to recall when The Titanic sank in the Indian Ocean in 2087 with the loss of more than a dozen lives and the ships dog "Icy". Tragic, still to this day nobody knows what caused the schooner to sink, some things can just not be explained.

I think China is happy to watch Russia vs the Yanks play out in Ukraine and elsewhere, while waiting to sweep up the pieces. My advice is to start learning Mandarin because both Russia and America are essentially ****ed.

 

There is no USA v Russia that would be the biggest mismatch in history. In what way are the Yanks ****ed? They have the largest economy and spend the largest % of their GDP in the world on weapons and defence etc

The conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East are Cold War proxy conflicts continued into the post Soviet era. Granted, Russia is no match for the USA, but America’s existential threat comes from within. Their society is breaking down from the inside, there’s no social cohesion, their political leaders thrive on exploiting grievance, and every ****’s armed. We’re witnessing the decline and fall of the US empire.

 

I suppose that's the way the cookie crumbles. The end justifies the means.
