They've designed it well imo... Stands close to the pitch all around and fans will be right on top of the players. It's a bit tin pot in it's construction, but instantly becomes one of the best in the country.
1 billion on a rebuild suggests it'll be a big improvement.. the suggestion of 2 to 3 billion for a new one suggests a galactic arena
It's not as flash as Tottenhams but like I say the design in terms of the stands is well thought out. It'll be the best atmosphere in the league because of that.
Not taking the piss here Peej, but what's the risk assessment like for flooding? Always thought it was a strange location to build it personally.
It's not that good mind.. like the inside and looks good at night no doubt but in day light outside it looks like an ice rink or something.
The only way it would flood would be through a sea-level rise due to global warming. Need to replace my Tesla with a gas guzzling SUV. More likely it will flood from within due to relegation related tears.
it was built on an old dock, will just let the water out an all be fine. being considered for a CL final venue now. iconic.
For the new ground, the contrast between the grey and blue stones is to show where the old dock was…. Iconic.
