We were poor overall. I do hope a goal either early on or the Pedro chance that got chalked off may have changed things somewhat but in reality its likely a false hope.

I didn’t watch the Norwich game and unusually not even bothered to watch the highlights. I did watch Walt’s post match interview. Was amused and terrified in equal doses when on the back of a 4-0 thumping, he bemoans us for not been clinical enough in front of goal. Could we really have won 5-4?

    No.

But we could have lost 6-2.

That's not the case mate. Sheffield Utd scored from situations away from the press. QPR didn't exploit the press to score. Norwich didn't exploit it 4 times.

I'm in agreement we are loose but that's the nature of his system. To blame the press isn't correct or fair.

I think the press is too loose. It’s too easy to play through/over. Slater and Mehlem were both bypassed with ease too many times

Norwich regularly exploited our press. Our defence was pushing up out of shape which allowed Norwich to easily play the ball through and create one-on-one opportunities.

In my defence I've just got back to my hotel having spent 4 hours in Brown's, Shoreditch. My analysis could be loose too.

Christ is that place still going?! Used to love a Friday lunchtime special with the lads from work when I was working in the Smoke. 'Sometimes' didn't quite make it back to the office, no idea why....Used to be managed, and I'm talking late 80s now, by a short blonde women who you did not want to mess with. She liked us so we got well looked after. Ahhh happy days, hope you enjoyed it Jim!

My daughter has just moved to the area, about 5 minutes walk from Brown's down Old Street, I'll have to figure a way of making that work!

Yeah still going mate. The horns which is owned by the same lady only opens Thursday to Saturday now but Brown's is as normal.

I don't go in like I used to, I know a couple of girls who work there so if I'm around I pop in. Last night everywhere decent had shut early so with the pounds in the glass it was costing me about £8 an hour just to sit in there and have a beer!

Apparently the London night czar has chucked it , half of London clubs have shut - she’s done a cracking job . on the other hand wanted to stay at Westfield Stratford Hyatt - £340 night , went 4 years ago about £140 . Got Premier in for £130

Silly licensing regulations, VAT at 20% when it is less than 10% in Germany, Holland and elsewhere, extortionate rates, electrify etc have over the years led to their demise. Small bars, independently run and not tied to breweries like in Europe are more sustainable,

Thought only Bilbao shut early? Should have been in Hull. Apparently it has a late night scene the envy of places like Bilbao.

Do you copy and paste or do you go to the effort of typing it out each time?
