Not much point City players coming across to the stands. After a 4-1 win the East Stand was empty before the players had shook hands at the end of the game.

I enjoyed it. Don’t enjoy some of the one sided games in RL but games like last night which are close makes you admire the way players defend as though their lives depend on it. It takes some doing to play with the intensity they showed for 80 minutes.
Interesting to see how many very young fans were there cheering enthusiastically and jumping up and down, We hear on forums, especially the one on Facebook, how people can’t go to City night games because their kids have to be in bed. Also they can’t take kids because everyone won’t sit down or make too much noise around them. Agree with the stewarding. Against Cardiff there were stewards in front of the half a section with a fence in front of it and a barrier down the side separating it from the away fans. But for that game City fans were in the next two sections, about time they were used instead of leaving them empty so well done the club, and the nearest Cardiff fans were in the East Stand so why the need for stewards between the two sections of City fans?

Last time I went to Rovers (about three years ago) the bar was open an hour before the game and Guinness was £1 a pint!!!

City doing that would lure me into the ground earlier!

*didn’t bother actually staying for the Rovers game but the pre match was splendid!

Just heard on Sky that Rervers have sold 10k tickets for next week.
Not a bad effort but I would estimate FC would shift double that if Wembley was anything to go by.

One problem with that statement Vern, it's not your Dull FC that's in the Final, why?, because they're too busy propping the rest of the League up.

Harsh but true old bean. Looks like a Revers versus Wigan final. Leigh are well off the pace.

Bollocks, they only scored tries against overs in round 23 when Rovers had 12 on the pitch....

Well Rerver I notice the bookmakers have Wigan as slight favourites for Saturday.
My heart would like to see Rervers win for the City but my head says Wigan.
It may come down to the boot. Lewis's kicking is questionable and he needs to mix up a short kicking game rather than always going for the predicable high kick and chase.
