Too obvious. Not happening. Glad in a way and sad in another way I’m working up north today. It’s going to be a cesspit in London and, to a lesser extent, B-town. At least I’ve not seen any celebrations planned publicly as there are in Dublin.
Brb was absolutely spot on with his comment about intelligence led missions. It should be applauded the way they’ve gone about taking out the Hamas and Hezbollah leadership, in Lebanon. They’ve been hitting high rise apartment blocks and only taking out one single room where their targets have been. They’ve somehow been managing to leave the rest of the building standing and untouched. This is also after they’ve been messaging the locals telling them to get out of the area because strikes are coming. No such goodwill from Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis, Syrians or Iraqis, when they’ve been sending their missiles into Israel, unfortunately.
I see you’re an expert on world affairs now then mate. Thanks for sharing, but personally I’m still waiting for all the benefits you said Brexit would bring.
I would like them to, but they will not. Something needs to be done about them though, they are the only one in all this I have any beef with. I got no problem with Palestinians or the Lebanese, as I have no problem with Israel's, but the powers that be in Iran need sorting. Just see the press interviews now if it happened, Biden, 'I know nothing.'
I guess Gaza wouldn’t be under the rubble if it wasn’t for Iran and Hamas. Hide behind your civilians and in public buildings, you’re going to cause a lot of deaths for your people.
Yeah, I agree. Treat the cause, not the symptom. If Israel really want to weaken Hamas and Hezbollah, then they need to weaken Iran.
...and yet Mossad and the IDF are so sophisticated they can explode communication devices and take out individual rooms in buildings when assassinating high ranking enemies?... but for Gaza the Israeli 'defensive" action has necessitated the destruction of around 90% of all buildings ... something doesn't quite add up ... unless there is another agenda...l Plus the IDF has a history of using human shields going back decades ... mostly Palestinians mind ...
If you have a better strategy for destroying tunnels well below ground I’m sure they can book you a meeting.
90% of Gaza is built above tunnels. 500km of them. For comparison, the London Underground is 402km in total length. Instead of building a single bomb shelter for its civilian population, this is what Hamas has done with the concrete the world continues to donate to it.
