Keith Edwards pointed towards the West stand when asked about the whereabouts of his wife, and still signed for us again. :emoticon-0138-think

The point about being a professional at anything is that you rise above all obstacles and perform at your best regardless. Go ahead and prove you are up to it. **** the doubters & critics, well done Mr Kamara

If he was supposedly affected by the booing I am looking forward to see him playing when the home fans are cheering because he looked pretty good.<laugh>

JP did, but was about the only regular attacker to join that late - TW's had most of his first choice front 3 plus their back ups (other than Millar/Omur) join late in the window Belloumi, Kamara, Bedia & Palmer. There's a difference there.

I remember Campbell getting absolute pelters when he was warming up in front of the West Stand in the 2-2 Cardiff game(I was 10 yards from him).He was laughing, couldn't give a ****,scored for them and rubbed it in!!

I also remember the abuse Malcolm Lord used to get at Booothferry.I didn't understand it,I was a kid,he was our player.

Alright,I found it a bit 'petty'/'stupid' yesterday but this is turning into a mountain and it wasn't even a molehill to start off with.

'IF' Kamara were to come out tomorrow and say he was upset, deeply offended or that he suffered racial or homophobic abuse, then of course I'd come out and condemn it but as it stands at the moment,it was nothing,a non-event,a wind up...

It'll be interesting to see if any player or coach from our opposition cops it this season at the MKM,or maybe our fans now are so much more mature and so 2024?

Jamie Vardy must be delighted he's not returning after the abuse he got last season OR maybe he was enough of a pro to rub it back in after he'd let his boots do the talking...

Isn’t this the point though? In all walks of life there are those that are full of self confidence and can handle whatever is thrown at them, whilst others may have a fragile self esteem and struggle to deal with what you may call banter but others consider to be abuse.
Why do some people feel that they can behave in that way towards someone that they’ve probably never met and know nothing about them, just because they’ve made a decision they don’t like.
I really don’t get it but clearly, I’m too sensitive.

You weren’t too sensitive to like the post showing taraaabt have a menkal elf breakdown on the qpr mdt?
Clearly it was his menkal elf but you liked it and thought it funny?
That’s appalling I hope you’re going to give yourself a life time ban
Only 6 other low life’s off here liked it
    You been one of them
I’ll be sending their names onto the relevant authorities and hopefully lifetime bans off here and for the mkm too

    zero tolerance

Yeah. Postecoglou has actually said in interviews if he could play with 10 attackers and no defenders, he would. He treats defending as if it’s an inconvenient aspect of the game. Walter’s philosophy seems to be exactly the same. So much focus on build-up, shape in possession, rotations and attacking play but very little emphasis on defending itself.

One of the reasons I really like Corberán as a coach is because he’s managed to find an almost perfect balance between defensive stability whilst having attractive football in possession and strong attacking play. He defends in a 4-4-2 mid-block with a striker and #10 pressing but if the opposition beats the press they then have to find a way through West Brom’s midfield and defensive lines which is extremely difficult and why they have such a good defensive record.

Bedia joined roughly the same point that twine did the previous season. It's really belloumi/Philogene joining deadline day of the regularly starting attackers at this point, as millar joined quite early in line with delap, and bedia/twine joining a few days apart. Kamara and palmer (to this point) aren't regular starters, Mehlem and belloumi are, so when they joined doesn't matter. Basically, you'd have to be splitting hairs to say one group of starters joined much later than the other. Comparisons to last year are getting pretty tired but people seem to be bending over backwards to justify why Walter is so much better than LR which is pretty weird.

He was throwing a tantrum because a couple of decisions didn’t go his way. I thought it was quite amusing at the time but didn’t abuse him in any way.

.you're honestly talking about about 'weird'
    after posting that?

He didn't have a functional squad prior to the last 5.

    He's won 3 of them.

You're just doing what you're accusing everyone else of doing.

Just too blinkered to see it.

Depends if spelling is an 'obstacle' I suppose.

But the lad seemed to deal with it OK, so it seems to be a bit of a storm in a teacup, mostly caused by the reactions of people who don't like told they're 'been a ****' and part of the problem.

"He earns more than me" so is somehow supposedly immune to it.

'cos that's banter so it's OK innit?

We've literally got people saying we're too nice and accommodating as a fanbase and in the same breath literally defending opposition fans abusing of one of our own young lads.

And our main protagonist takes every opportunity to sycophantically talk about Norwich as much as ****ing Hull anyway....

    Talk about irony....

    ****ing morons.

As Alex Ferguson said, attackers win you games, defence win you titles.

We've signed some really promising, exciting, attacking players who are gonna create a lot of chances and score a reasonable amount of goals this season.

Won't count for a lot if we concede four goals every game due to poor, badly organised defending.

So the rules are, it's acceptable to abuse players and they should just ignore it. On the other hand, if a journalist says anything we disagree with we should HAVE AN ABSOLUTE ****ING MELTDOWN. Glad that's clear.
