As Norway kept reminding us to listen to the podcast, I did. They are saying what we have been saying, Baz should not continue to ignore the fans. They cast doubts on his illness and mention that he agrees to meetings then pulls out.

They are clearly no wiser about him than we are. <yikes>

It couldn't be us of course, or could it?

The Rugby Football League has confirmed Northampton Town FC will enter a team in the semi-professional Championship One competition from 2013.

The new team will be owned and run by the League Two side and will play at their Sixfields ground.

Northampton have also announced a link-up with Super League club Wakefield.

"There is great potential here and the club is based on solid foundations," RFL chief operating officer Ralph Rimmer told BBC Radio Northampton.

"There are thousands of rugby league supporters in the region who attend major RFL events such as the Challenge Cup Final and now they have a team on their doorstep we hope they get behind the new team.

"Northampton are the first club past the post and we're looking forward to naming the other three new clubs over the coming months."

NTFC have announced this after appointing a Yorkshireman as boss - coincidence or not?

Morning All, Woken early this morning by the sound of rain on the roof and it is very grey and cloudy out there at the moment, but sun is promised for this afternoon.

This site went down again last night. They do seem to have a few issues with it. Busy day ahead getting ready for my trip across the water. So a quick coffee, then out to buy some essential bottles. ;)

I have new managers so a bit of time away from the Nest was a good idea until I could see their thoughts. They are quite good, better than the last managers. The only difference is the heaters are on more!

The maximum high temperature for today is -11C but my thermometer says -6C so the weather office is wrong. Is still night and there is snow from þursday, the cars that did not move yesterday have a good layer on them.

PSH Gloucester and Scotland are not in the same place I smell something bad, like Danmörk. You have a day off and are to go to your work, english confuses.

Morning all from a cold & frosty bandit country...

Interesting point on Northampton starting up a Rugby League club, I wonder if it will be more successful than all the other RL cxlubs that have started and failed in the South? Whilst Northampton is closer to RL country than most of the other start up's, I just cannot see how it can survive - would fans of the RU club go? would fans of the football team go? I will give it 18 months,,

Morning all from a chilly and icy west coast. They have tried American Football down south (failed) Rugby league (hasnt really caught on) I agree with W-y I think its a doomed venture! With a another recession on the cards , footy and rugby union struggling ! Unless the RL tickets were about £5 I cant see many folk going!

I hope none of you are to travel in the air soon. Katla is preparing to erupt and it is a lot bigger than any other volcano in Ísland. An explosion is late as the last one was from 1918 and the next should follow in 40 to 80 years. The weather office who look after this sort of thing has measured over 500 little earth quakes after july. From our records when it exploded in 1755 the water Katla melted was more than all the rivers in the world had.

Morning all, lovely clear day in eastern bandit country. But bit chilly!!!

Bad news on the boiler, had to be shut down as potential CO leak....when the service guy came out to have a look he found the asbestos collar on the flue has cracked so will need complete boiler replacement. I have been quoted £1200 for the whole thing, parts, labour, plus usual thermostats and pipe work (Ferroli 28 kw gas condensing combination boiler). The company seems genuine and I'm pretty good at spotting cowboys but it almost seems 'too good' a quote. What do you guys think??

Cant help you mate ,not my particular field of expertise:) However I wouldnt make any hasty decisions and get 2 or 3 other companies to give me a quote ,making sure they had the relevant qualifications to get your new system "signed off"
