Luton are playing so bad here. Considering it's pretty much the same squad that was promoted and put up a decent fight in the PL i'm not sure what's happened.
Probably need an element of player turnover when you yo-yo. Otherwise it’s a bunch of players who are used to getting beat. Tough to switch it up.
Yeah they look shot mentally. I seen them play better against some of the best in the country last season.
Gutted for Ross but once again what a deal we got there, glad he got a good contract there because I think he might drop pretty quickly down the leagues
Results mainly going our way at the moment ... ... West Brom 0-0 at home to Millwall, Blackburn losing at Plymouth, Watford 0-0 Boro, etc. Even Sheff Utd winning has a silver lining, Luton have had no shots and little possession.
I did wonder how being the favourites most games would go, they've always been the underdogs n now they have PL experience n big money signings - that has a big impact on games imo
With hindsight it’s even bigger than that. Speakman caught absolute hell from the fanbase for not agreeing a deal with LND even after the injury. He’s been absolutely vindicated. Just imagine we’d ‘given the lad what he wants’. We’d be looking at an unaffordable albatross.
