I meant to ask what was going on in those instances. The ref seemed to join in the chats for a while. I thought the ball was flat or something initially.
What made it more annoying is that the referee told them to get on with it, took the ball off the keeper and then put it on the floor which allowed the keeper to waste even more bloody time deciding whether to kick it long or pass it short! Referee should've bloody booked him then and there for time wasting
Seen 2 keepers booked for time wasting before the 80th minute in my life. Lionel Perez and Anthony Patterson! Easy fix, add a 10 second rule. Once you have the ball, ten seconds to get it back into play. Throw in, goal kick, etc. booking or decision against you if not. Maybe the decision against is a good idea. I.e. you don’t take a goal kick in ten seconds, it’s a corner etc etc
Everyone knows my love in for the Cirkin but seriously , when did he turn into prime Marcelo man. Some of the spins and touches last night.
100% good English left backs are like gold dust these days. Still think he will convert and to play for Ireland
He is also eligible for Latvia (parents birthplace) or Russia (parents ethnicity and grandparents birthplace). Циркин
There was a scout from Frankfurt there last night looking at him, there is def a lot of interest in him Spurs will be keeping a close eye ad I wouldnt be surprised if they tried to activate thr buy back then sell on
One of the ball boys thinks, 'Yes I'll get sacked' then dives into the heap of players before handing in his bib and singing all the way home
He’s brilliant. There was a fair few online who were advocating giving up on him after the injuries - particularly last season. There’s lots of hard work and attitude that’s gone into getting him back, as well as probably a bit of luck (or an absence of bad luck). But the lesson is to never write off talent. There’s probably one or two in the squad now who are at a low point, but who’ll come back to make a strong impact at safc. If they make half the impact that DC has, they’ll do nicely.
